Refund policy

Who handles payments and refunds

Purchases of the ICED METHOD° app are sold and collected by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller (Merchant of Record). Refunds are made by Paddle to the payment method you used.

Risk-free trial: 14 days, up to 5 recipes

If the app isn't for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of payment: if you have used no more than 5 recipes in that period, we refund the full amount, no questions asked. This applies to the first purchase and to every annual renewal.

What counts as a “used recipe”: every different recipe you open, edit, import or make a label from. Browsing the list, searching and scrolling don't count.

When a refund is not available

The statutory right of withdrawal

For consumers in the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content already used when, at purchase, you asked for immediate access and acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m), Directive 2011/83/EU). You confirm this with the tick box before payment and we remind you of it in the email with your code. It's the same rule as in Paddle's Refund Policy (section 2.2.4).

If the app doesn't work

If the app does not work as described and we can't fix the problem, you are entitled to a refund even beyond 14 days and 5 recipes, as the law provides.

Cancelling the renewal

You can cancel at any time from your app profile (“Manage or cancel”): you stay active until the end of the paid period and we won't charge you again. The period already paid is not partly refunded.

How to ask for a refund

Write to info@icedmethod.com with the email used for payment, or reply to your Paddle receipt or go to paddle.net. The refund usually arrives within 5–10 working days.

Paddle, as the seller, assesses every request under its own Refund Policy. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
