What we collect

To sign in: the username you choose and your access code; we don't ask for an email or password. If you buy: email and billing details, handled by Paddle, our reseller; we use the email to send you the code. While you use the app: your preferences — language, machine, tastes, saved recipes, variants, freezer timer — stay on your device; on our servers we only keep the code, username, linked devices and the recipes you open.

Why

To give you access and recognise you (performance of the contract), to issue tax documents (legal obligation), to make preferences work (your consent), and to send you messages only if you asked for them (consent, withdrawable at any time).

Who we share with

Netlify (hosting and user management). Anthropic: when you talk to Mr. GELATINO or send it a photo, that text and image are transmitted to generate the answer; do not send it personal or confidential data. Our payment provider for purchases. None of them sells your data. Some process data outside the European Union under the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

How long

Account data while you remain registered and for one year after deletion; accounting records for the period required by Czech law; assistant conversations are not stored by us.

Cookies

We only use technical browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices. Only if you accept in the banner do we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and advertising-measurement cookies; if you decline the site works the same and you can change your mind at any time. We never sell your data. Emails (confirmations and codes) are sent with Resend.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Write to info@icedmethod.com: we reply within thirty days. If something seems wrong you may contact the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) or the authority in your own country.

Minors

The app is not intended for children under sixteen without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Website: reservations and newsletter

When you reserve founding or subscribe to the newsletter on icedmethod.com we collect your email, machine and language through Netlify forms, only to contact you about what you asked for (your consent, which you can withdraw by writing to info@icedmethod.com). We do not use them for anything else and never share them.
